 We'd gone to brunch at Zazie with Ben and Ani and I'd finally mustered up the courage to order my favourite "pancakes du midi." For those wondering, "du midi" = fresh fruit. I was emotionally scarred from my last attempt at ordering this repast by the somewhat untimely appearance of an adventurous worm hiking through the "du midi". But, being the big girl that I am, I was ready to put it all behind me. Ha! Can you say spider in the strawberries? I'm cursed.
